Disability Management (BEM)

"Disability management (§ 167 para. 2 SGB IX) is to be carried out - regardless of the size of the company and regardless of whether the affected employee is (severely) disabled - when an employee is continuously or repeatedly unable to work for more than six weeks within twelve months."

Especially in small businesses, there is often a lack of time and resources to adequately implement a Disability Management. This is exactly where my offer comes in, specifically for small businesses that recognize the need but have difficulty devoting extensive attention to it due to their daily operations.

As a certified Disability Management Coordinator (IHK) with extensive experience in the initiation and execution of Disability Management, I approach my work with a solutions-oriented mindset, striving for pragmatic outcomes that aim to preserve and restore the workforce of your employees.

In the context of Disability case management, I oversee the collaboration among eligible individuals and, if necessary, other internal and external stakeholders, such as the works council, occupational safety experts, or the company physician. This also involves considering interactions with public entities like the Integration Services, the Integration Office, the Pension Insurance, or the Employment Agency. I am also here to assist you in the application process for cost-free aids and additional support from these agencies, ensuring the successful implementation of Disability Management.
